The Franklin Theater

In celebration of my sweet friend's birthday today, a few of my friends and I all went to the newly restored Historic Franklin Theater. It was my first time going since it has been reopened and my first time since... well- I was too young to remember!

We saw the afternoon showing of Breakfast At Tiffany's. A classic that I have been meaning to see for years, but just have not gotten around to it until today. And I have to say, The Franklin Theater was just the perfect venue for such a wonderful old film.

A charming, funny little movie about a lovely 'mess of a woman' and her quirky little cat.
If only unorganized messy cat lovers were as glamorous in real life as they are in the movies. Or maybe its just that Audrey Hepburn could make any character lovable and endearing!

Im in love with the Franklin Theater.
I love the fact that there is only ONE viewing room and that they show old movies!

Its just perfect- you almost feel like you have entered a time machine when you walk into the screening room! Im already looking forward to my next visit.

Check out their website for future showings! ---> THE FRANKLIN THEATER
