I was so excited this afternoon when there was finally enough snow on the ground to go sledding and make some use of the great hills in our back yard! I have to admit I was a little scared going down such a steep hill in a laundry basket, but I knew I had to take the chance. I ended up with a busted lip and a bruised back by the time the day was over, but it was all worth it! Nothing beats sledding on a beautiful snowy day!
And on to the art! This is the piece im working on tonight.. still quite a bit of work to go, but since I will probably be snowed in all weekend, I have plenty of time to finish. As you can see, my kitty Shelby always likes to be in on the action :-)

ohh my gosh! i know!!!! andrea, you will LOVE all the huge hills. but be sure to wear lots of padding. i flew out of the laundry basket almost every time once i reached the bottom.
