I have been a preschool art teacher for three weeks now and I have to say- I love it. I feel myself getting suprised every day by the kids I teach. Wether it be a child dumping out an entire jar of glue or a child using the materials I give him in a way I never even thought of- they keep me on my toes! And I find myself watching with amazement as I behold raw and genuine creativity in action. Im learning more from them than they are learning from me. Last week we made paintings by using cotton balls and q-tips instead of paintbrushes. I absolutely loved watching how they used the materials. Here are some of my kid's art pieces...
